Finished my criminal procedure class today and I’m even more concerned about the state of Fourth Amendment rights than when I went in. Didn’t know that was possible!
@tony The Fourth Amendment has been more or less continually steamrolled since 9/11, has it not?
@tony I sent the MN appeal case to this guy, he covered it today
@Pat Thanks! He covered this very well. Subscribed to his channel too.
@tony
Bubba, sorry to say you're late to the party.
4 A went bye bye with
Transportation Security Act 1974 and 2001 (expanded by Bush after 9-11).
And we don't even know HOW MANY citizens & visa holders were renditioned by this act.
So yeah, be afraid, be very afraid.
My biggest Fourth Amendment ick
... is Arizona v. Evans/Herring v. U.S. If a police officer’s computer wrongly says you have an arrest warrant due to clerical error, and cops find contraband in your car when falsely arresting you, the evidence they find is still admissible to charge you. Not great!
