I filed an amicus brief at the Minnesota Supreme Court today in a case where police searched an attorney's files and computer. I argue that in these situations, the court needs to appoint a special master instead of letting police search privileged documents themselves. documentcloud.org/documents/23

@tony Why do we trust police with ANYTHING? They have thoroughly proven they can't be trusted with even something simple like not murdering people for the fun of it.

@tony Yes, seems like a no-brainer. Police are not impartial.
